On Wednesday July 1st HOPE Community Services held a “Fourth of July” BBQ for their soup kitchen clients. As usual, we were honored to be able to sponsor the afternoon to celebrate life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

The menu consisted of all-American summer favorites including: hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad, green salad, chips, watermelon and ice cream. All hands were on deck as Terry Hamburger, Associate Director of HOPE Community Services, served as the cook and Carole Troum also helped out, along with a group of dedicated volunteers.

Everyone enjoyed a carefree afternoon of food, fellowship and fun and we were happy to be a part of it.

The afternoon kicks off with lots of laughter and smiles. Delicious hotdogs were on the menu.

What's a BBQ without hamburgers? HOPE staff Carole T. (front, white shirt) and Terry H. (apron) are joined by clients.

Terry Hamburger takes a break from flipping – you guessed it – hamburgers for a quick photo!
No one's sweet tooth was denied, with yummy fruit on hand.
