Before the hectic pace of the holidays arrived, Con Edison employees planned something special for our young clients! On Saturday, October 22nd, volunteers spent their afternoon hosting a Children's Arts & Crafts Party at St. John the Baptist Church in Manhattan.

A little bit of rain couldn't stop the fun as music set the tone for an afternoon of fun. After enjoying a delicious meal, catered by our friends at "A World of Food," our young attendees had the opportunity to enjoy various arts & crafts projects. Stations were set up that included an array of activities to choose from with the help of friendly Con Edison volunteers. Over 100 children and their guardians were in attendance.

Our friend "Magic Dave" the magician made his rounds throughout the room, wowing youngsters (and adults, alike) with his tricks and treats! Children were also able to have their faces painted as a whimsical reminder of the fun afternoon.

Thank you to Con Edison volunteers who spent the day welcoming guests, serving food, providing guidance, painting faces and ensuring that a good day was had by all!
