On Saturday, December 13th members of the Downtown United Soccer Club (DUSC) braved the very chilly weather on a very important mission: to collect food items in a Food and Can Drive.

DUSC volunteers (including members plus their friends and family) of all ages met up at Pier 40 - Hudson River Park to accept boxes of cereal and canned/dried food.

Thank you to everyone who took the Season of Giving to heart and participated/donated to make this important Drive a success! We'd like to send a very special thank you to Andrew Norse and Malorie Greenberg of DUSC who reached out to us seeking a way to benefit our organization.

All of the items were donated to a food pantry in NYC that we help to support.

The DUSC is here in their cold weather gear! Volunteers of all ages helped out!

Of course the Soccer Club had to squeeze in a quick warmup! It's early in the morning, but the donations are rolling in!

Teamwork and smiles are in large supply! These non-perishable items can add up when you are on a fixed income.

Boxes/bags are filling up quickly here! Coffee, teamwork and donations!

Malorie from DUSC with Bob W. of StFFP!
Hi, DUSC! We cannot say Thank You enough!
Malorie and Coach Justin of DUSC were on-hand overseeing the Drive!
What a successful Drive!
Guess who we're rooting for? Go, DUSC!
