Grandparents Advocacy Project (G.A.P.) is a Bronx, NY-based group that consists of grandparents who have custody of their grandchildren for one reason or another. Throughout the year, we work closely with this organization and its founder Kathy Gibson on a number of events/projects including our Annual Back to School Picnic in Orchard Beach.

Over the summer, we were able to send a group of over 40 children and seniors to the "Great White Way" for a performance of the New York Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes. For many, it was the first time they had ever been to a Broadway show - let alone one with such an iconic NYC feel!

This is just one example of how the funds raised year-round by our incredible supporters really make a difference in the lives of those we help. It is always wonderful to be able to give back, especially with an experience such as this one and memories that will last a lifetime!
