Colgate-Palmolive Hygiene Kits

Our relationship with Colgate-Palmolive began in 2013 and has since evolved into one of our most important and beneficial corporate partnerships. In addition to regularly taking part at any number of our monthly community events, Colgate also donates thousands of personal hygiene items such as soap, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes annually.

Some of you may be wondering how St. Francis Food Pantries manages bulk locations like this. From collecting, inventorying and storing these donations, it’s truly a group effort! The products are kept (in bulk) at a few locations throughout our network of food pantries and shelters. And then, when their clients are most in need, teams of volunteers from individual sites will spend hours of their time preparing personal care and hygiene kits for their clientele, people who don’t always have the means to purchase these essential everyday items.

We couldn’t do this without the generosity of corporate partners like Colgate-Palmolive and the hundreds of extraordinary people that come together to help us reach that last mile – from the storage rooms to the pantries and shelters into the hands of the people that need these goods and services the most!
