Pasta Party

Gathering family and friends for a great pasta dinner is a tradition that has been passed down for generations. St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters continue this tradition for the needy we serve.

A complete Italian dinner with chicken parmesan and spaghetti and meatballs is the basis for St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters "Pasta Party." First, a Midtown Manhattan Hotel ballroom is transformed into a slice of old Italy with beautiful decorations. Then, over 500 of our clients are greeted and served by cheerful volunteers specially dressed for the occasion. Italian music, a strolling magician, face painters and balloon sculptors complete the festive mood. After this internationally flavored lunch, a special gift is given to all insuring this St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters tradition will be remembered. Sharing this meal and an afternoon together accomplishes our goal of feeding both body and spirit.
