Holiday Parties

St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters throws a lot of parties during the holiday season, because we’ve found that an upbeat mood and an informal and fun get-together nourishes the soul as much as the warm meal we provide nourishes the body.

It’s also a great way to help our corporate partners reach a lot of people in one event as possible, as well as a way for us to get more bang for the buck, so to speak. Because there’s no way we could do without the help of such great corporate citizens as Macy’s, Con Edison, BMDC Construction, TPG Architecture, Urban Office and The Meehan Group.

The annual Macy's Giveback Party brought more than 100 school children together for a holiday experience. Macy's volunteers decorated the room and tables, made crafts with the children and then served them all lunch. After their meals were all cleared, Santa and Mrs. Claus greeted each of the children giving them all a gift.

St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters Holiday Parties are always an overwhelming success that help make the season brighter for all of our clients who attend.
