On Thursday, November 19th - exactly one week before Thanksgiving 2015 - Corporate Volunteers from Macy's partnered with St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters for a festive holiday project.

The title "Sharing the Feast" was the perfect theme for the day with over 40 volunteers working together, in two sessions, to prepare Thanksgiving Baskets. These baskets were filled with all of the fixings for a delicious holiday meal!

After a few hours, countless smiles and an incredible display of teamwork - 200 baskets had been prepared (half of which were filled with a canned ham and half with certificates to purchase a turkey). As if this was not awesome enough, volunteers even took the time to create handmade greeting cards to accompany the baskets.

The baskets were delivered to an elementary school and a senior center that we help, to help ensure the holidays are a good one for all! Thank You to Macy's for giving back with us this season.

Today, Macy's is "Sharing the Feast" with StFFP! Nothing but big smiles as these volunteers make homemade greeting cards!

We're happy to provide all of the fixings for a hearty holiday meal This focused volunteer makes sure nothing is left out.

It takes two - when it comes to basket wrapping and ribbon tying! Definitely the cutest Thanksgiving cards we’ve ever seen!

Our good friend Edmin came to roll up his sleeves with his Macy's colleagues! Holiday cheer is in the air among our wonderful volunteers!

Thank You, for all of your hard work Macy's!
"Thank you for this basket! This meal is one less thing to worry about!"
