Turkey Drive

During the Thanksgiving 2019 season, the St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters' Annual Turkey Drive & Distribution program was extremely successful, thanks to the efforts of so many people. Thousands and thousands of turkeys were delivered to the almost 70 locations we help support.

Due to the unwavering assistance from our corporate donors, the hundreds of volunteers that pitch in, and all of our loyal supporters, we were able to help so many of the people and families in the New York City area who depend on our assistance.

For so many of the people we serve, not having to worry about a meal is one less thing they have to worry about. Thank you to everyone who helped us ensure that togetherness, family and gratitude were the focus of this special day.

Money raised through our turkey drive also covers the distribution.	Delivering 7700 turkeys in a 2 day time frame is a massive undertaking.
Our most successful drive is really understood when you see the lines of people.	Each pantry distributes in a way that suits their clientele and location.
