Volunteer Spotlight: Mary Anne Fusco

Mary Anne Fusco

The St. Francis Food Pantries & Shelters is a network of food and service programs for the poor that provide a wide range of services to feed, clothe, counsel, and alleviate physical and emotional hunger in a dignified and supportive manner. We support a network of charitable programs that provide a broad range of services for those in need, including the provision of food, clothing, shelter, and related social services for the poor.

Those are the facts. What you might not know is that everything is made possible with the help of our supporters and volunteers. It is one thing to know about the misfortune of others and something much different to do something meaningful to help out.

Someone who knows this very well is Mary Anne Fusco, who has led a very successful annual coat drive for St. Francis for the past 20 years! To date, Mary Anne and her team have collected and distributed more than 15,000 coats, scarves and winter accessories to our many clients and their families.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. So a video must be worth at least 10,000. This clip tells you even more about the great work Mary Anne continues to do on behalf of the needy:

We are immensely grateful for your hard work, Mary Ann, and look forward to working with you every year.
