The Second Annual "Texas Hold'em Tournament & Casino Night" to benefit St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters was held on Thursday December 6, 2012. The event was held at the New York Marriott Marquis. Robert Gavin, Global Manager at Citco Technology and Joseph Robert, Senior Vice President/Commercial Real Estate at Capital One Bank were the Event Co-Chairs. Over 200 guests supported the event, played in the Texas Hold'em Tournament and at other Casino table games. Comedian Michael Rakosi entertained the players throughout the evening. Players were eliminated through the evening until only one table of 9 was left. Competition among these "Top 9 Tournament Players" was high as they played to win great prize packages and trips. The event raised over $100,000 to provide food, clothing and counseling to the needy throughout the New York area. This was another successful event that supported the mission of St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters.
