15th Annual Theatre Night Benefit: "Bullets Over Broadway"

St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters proudly hosted the 15th Annual Theatre Benefit on Thursday May 21, 2014. In keeping with tradition, the evening began with a Cocktail Party at the Marriott New York Marquis, which was followed by a performance of the new Broadway musical "Bullets Over Broadway" by Woody Allen.

Lou Milo, President of Milrose Consultants, Inc. was the Event Chairman, assisted by our dedicated 33 Committee Members. This year's Honorees were Frank Lisi, Managing Director of BNY Mellon and Gaston Silva, Chief Operating Officer of Vornado New York. Over 1,100 guests greeted the Honorees, and thanked them for their commitment to help the less fortunate in our community. This annual event benefits the services and programs of St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters - a unique network of over 40 food programs throughout the New York area. Each week 10,000 needy families are helped by St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters. The Theatre Benefit raised over $700,000 to support the mission of the organization.

Following the performance, "Bullets Over Broadway" cast members Vincent Pastore and Nick Cordero came back on stage to present Frank and Gaston with the "Francis Award" for their outstanding community service.
