10th Annual Women of Valor Awards Tea

St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters' held their Tenth Annual "Women of Valor" Awards Tea. The event was held at the Waldorf-Astoria on August 2, 2012 and hosted by Mann Publications. Ten extraordinary women were honored for their outstanding work in the community and improving the lives of those less fortunate. All proceeds benefited St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters, which serves over 10,000 needy families each week throughout the New York area.

Honorary Chair & Keynote Speaker was Joan Lunden, Television Host, Entrepreneur and Health & Wellness Advocate. Ellen Canny Goldberg of Haworth was the guest of honor. The Humanitarian Awards were presented to Michelle Cooper of Columbia University Medical Center and Tina Vasan of CB Richard Ellis, Inc.

Clarisa Award recipients were Cynthia M. Boyea of Paramount Group, Inc., Christine Chipurnoi of Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA, Inc., Diane DeChiaro of Normandy, Karen Dome of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services and Cindy Feinberg of JFK&M Consulting Group. The Macy's Community Star Award was presented to Frances Resheske of Con Edison by Margaret Grioli of Macy's.
