12th Annual Women of Valor Awards Tea

On Thursday, July 31, 2014 we held our Twelfth Annual "Women of Valor" Awards Tea to benefit the St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters. Hosted by Macy's, the Tea event took place at the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria New York and was attended by over 750 guests.

This special event honored a distinguished group of women who show leadership in business and also when it comes to giving back in support of their communities. Ernie Anastos of Fox 5 News joined us for the day as our Master of Ceremonies.

Rikki Klieman, CBS News Legal Analyst, Criminal Defense Attorney and wife of NYC Police Commissioner Bill Bratton, was our Keynote Speaker. Gina Rizzo, VP of Global Client Relations, Herman Miller, was our Guest of Honor and Karen Murray, President of Nautica and Kipling was our Macy's Community Star Award Recipient.

Humanitarian Award Recipients were: Jacqueline Barr, Design Principal, Ted Moudis Associates and Mitra Meshgin-Poosh, SVP Global Real Estate Services, McGraw Hill Financial. Clarisa Award Recipients were Amy Fleming, Director of Global Corporate Real Estate, BlackRock; Christen Portelli, Managing Principal, Highcap Group LLC and Kathy Winkler, VP of Corporate Real Estate, Prudential Financial.
