The new schoolyear has begun, and Fall is in the air. While we have some busy months coming up – including our annual Turkey Drive and Doodle for Hunger event, not to mention winter clothing drives and holiday parties – it’s always important for us to take a look back to appreciate what we’ve collectively and recently accomplished!
In June, as part of their annual Global Volunteer Month, hundreds of Morgan Stanley Volunteers helped make a ton of sandwiches to help us feed those in need!
In August we held our popular, Annual Back2School Picnic at Orchard Beach in Pelham, with the help of our good friends at Macy’s. More than 150 people attended, including children and grandparents from the Grandparent's Advocacy Project in the Bronx.
Our Annual Back2School Drive helps raise funds for new backpacks filled with school supplies that we collect or purchase, and then distribute throughout our charitable network. Thank you to everyone who donates and helps make this effort a success!
Oasis Summer Camps provides a classic camp experience for children from low-income families. And to make the summer camp experience different and fun, Oasis always throws a Christmas in July Celebration.
