Food For Thought
As we approach the winter months, the St Francis Food Pantries and Shelters community has been busy preparing for the coming holiday season.

Con Edison employees spent an afternoon in October hosting a Children's Arts & Crafts Party at St. John the Baptist Church in Manhattan.

One week before Thanksgiving volunteers from Macy's worked together to prepare Thanksgiving Dinner Baskets, which were then delivered to a local senior center and an elementary school in the Bronx in time for the holiday.

We are always honored to work with Sr. Monica Clare at the Church of Saint Mary the Virgin, who's monthly drop-in-days provide clothing, toiletries, blankets and social services to the street homeless, the low-income seniors and all the needy in the Times Square neighborhood.

In early November, volunteers from IPG Corporate hosted a pre-Thanksgiving lunch at the Encore Senior Center at St. Malachy’s Church. Volunteers helped to set up, serve lunch, tea and coffee and cleanup for more than 150 senior citizens, and to assist those with limited mobility.

As we look ahead to 2018, we invite you to connect with us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Vimeo to stay updated on our work!
