Spin for Hunger
The Second Annual "Spin for Hunger" to benefit St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters was held Sunday December 2, 2012 at Flywheel Sports Club on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The Presenting Sponsor for the event was Avison Young, and Flywheel was the Club Sponsor. Macy's, Fox 5 New York, Haworth, Ted Moudis Associates, and Knoll were among the other major Sponsors. Event Co-Chair Dana Trulis of Avison Young and Co-Chair Rosanna Scotto, Co-host of Fox 5's "Good Day New York" continued to inspire the over 45 other "spinners" participating in the event. Rosanna featured the event on "Good Day New York". Spin Instructor Jesse Alexander of Flywheel conducted the 45 minute spin class. The top fundraising teams and individuals received special awards, and gift bags were distributed to all spinners who also participated in a special raffle. "Spin for Hunger" was a fun and exciting way for the participants to exercise while raising over $50,000 to help the men, women, seniors and children supported by St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters.
Every participant received a Goody Bag filled with great gifts put together by our wonderful Sponsorship Committee.
